Section 1: Character description

 

Name: Cur “Red Fang” Aybara

 

Age: 48

 

Hair:  Brown with sprinkles of gray; it’s curly and falls just below his shoulders

 

Eyes:  Golden

 

Height:  6’2”, approximately 235-240 lbs

 

Other physical attributes (include style of dress, build, etc.):  Stocky build with thick arms and shoulders. Scars, remnants of a wild youth…including one very deep scar on his left cheek, which runs from just below his eye to the corner of his mouth. When he’s not acting as a blacksmith, he wears wool pants, shirt, and coat (usually green and brown).

 

Gifts (channeling, wolfkin, etc.):  Wolfbrother

 

Personality: Stoic and introverted; at times prone to the fiery passions and tempers of his youth; like most wolves, he has a very loyal nature.

 

Power:  N/A. He doesn’t channel

 

History:  He is the first descendant of Perrin Aybara to wear the mantle of “Wolf King”. He does not like to talk about how he came by that honor. In his youth, he had somewhat of a wild nature, leading and fighting alongside the al’sei’cair (Old Tongue, meaning, “The Golden Eyes”, literally, “The Eyes of Gold”) warrior caste of the far ulvazar din (“Brothers of the Wolf”).

 

In addition to being the Wolf King, he is the ruler of New Manetheren, a haven for wolfbrothers and others with secret pasts. New Manetheren – an autonomous city state - is in the foothills of the Mountains of the Mist on the Highground Plain, site of a famous battle during the second Seanchan incursion.

 

Far Ulvazar Din are oft hired by merchant caravans due to their keen eyesight and skill with a longbow or in hand to hand combat.

 

Weapons (swords, knives, etc.):  The Ax and the Hammer of Aybara, weapons which have been passed from generation to generation in the Aybara family

 

Organization/affiliation/status/light or Darkfriend: As The Wolf King, he rules New Manetheren and oversees the activities of the Far Ulvazar Din

 

Skills (hunting/tracking, blademaster, etc.): A skilled tactician; known for his ferocity in battle; typical wolfbrother traits (keen eyesight, keen sense of smell, ability to walk in the wolf dream)

 

Family:  A 16-year-old son named Con
